LA&HA Institute
The LA&HA Institute is a state-of-the-art laser research and training facility located in the heart of Fotona’s and the Laser and Health Academy’s European Headquarters. The Institute plays a key role in LA&HA’s mission to serve as a global platform for the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge among peers and promote evidence-based laser medicine and dentistry among practitioners and the general public.
The aims of the LA&HA Institute include:
- Regular research and education on new medical laser applications
- Connecting and coordinating international LA&HA training centers
- Conducting advanced workshops and seminars
- Organizing meetings to exchange ideas and methodology in key treatment fields
- Improving treatment standards
- Improving treatment efficacy and efficiency
The LA&HA Institute’s state-of-the-art facilities provide 500 m2 of workspace for educational & training activities, including:
- Multiple lecture rooms
- A large lecture room for 90 participants
- A laser room for live treatments
- A workspace room for hands-on, ex-vivo trainings
- Video and audio transmission equipment

Fotona offers a wide variety of basic and advanced training workshops for medical professionals through its partnerships with the Laser and Health Academy (LA&HA®) and leading international clinical experts. The primary focus of Fotona’s training is on practical instruction and hands-on demonstrations of laser techniques and procedures. All training activities are conducted in a uniquely interactive learning environment and led by highly experienced clinicians in a small group setting.
