Fotona APAC 2025: A Celebration of Innovation, Learning, and Connection
November 2025
The 11th Fotona Asia Pacific Meeting (APAC 2025) in Melbourne, Australia, was an unforgettable gathering of laser experts, clinicians, and partners from around the globe. This year’s congress brought together innovation, technology, and community in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
The event opened with an inspiring address by Fotona CEO Jeff Duchemin, setting an optimistic tone for the days ahead. A heartfelt tribute followed in memory of Paul Baltas, the late CEO of Innovative Medical Technologies, Fotona’s trusted Australian distribution partner and co-organizer of the meeting.
The opening plenary sessions further set the tone for the congress with a dynamic mix of inspiration and expertise, highlighted by world-class presentations and the exciting announcement of the new LA&HA Training Centre in Melbourne. The momentum carried throughout the day with engaging sessions across dentistry and gynecology that sparked fresh perspectives and lively discussions. The evening concluded with a memorable Gala Dinner—an elegant celebration that perfectly captured the Fotona Family spirit, bringing together friendship, inspiration, and shared achievement.
Day Two of the APAC continued with a world-class lineup of speakers and topics. The dentistry program featured leading experts exploring the expanding role of lasers in oral surgery and patient care, including innovations in NightLase®, photobiomodulation, and facial aesthetics. Interactive round tables and hands-on sessions with SkyPulse® and LightWalker® systems offered valuable practical experience.
In the aesthetics program, presentations highlighted key trends and featured an engaging round table discussion on innovations in the care for Asian skin, along with sessions on HAIRestart®, rejuvenation, melasma, and more. The day concluded with a lively cocktail party, wrapping up the congress on a note of camaraderie and shared inspiration.
Following APAC, several post-congress workshops were held at the newly opened LA&HA Training Centre in Melbourne, where international clinical experts led specialized hands-on sessions. The Centre will offer comprehensive training programs across three key specialties—dentistry, aesthetics & dermatology, and gynecology—with a full schedule of courses launching in early 2026.
As the event concluded, enthusiasm was already building for next year’s meeting. The 2026 Fotona Asia Pacific Meeting will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, promising another exciting chapter of collaboration, discovery, and innovation.
Thank you, Australia, for an inspiring and memorable APAC 2025.
