Welcome to LA&HA®

The Laser and Health Academy (LA&HA®) is a not-for-profit organization, originally established by Fotona d.d., dedicated to the promotion of research, education and publishing in the field of laser medicine. LA&HA® has since become a coordinator of the EU regional Competency Center for Biomedical Engineering (CC BME), connecting five industrial and seven academic research partners.   

Research: The research program of LA&HA® is focused on the research and development of laser technologies and applications that reduce the invasiveness of medical treatments.

Education: LA&HA® serves as a platform for continuous education, with a focus on practical instruction and the demonstration of laser techniques and procedures, delivered through a variety of workshops and seminars by experienced lecturers.  

Publishing: The Journal of the Laser and Health Academy is an international peer reviewed journal that follows new trends in laser medicine.
