First Laser and Health Academy Symposium

More than 120 attendees were present at the LAHA symposium, which included 14 presentation topics divided into two main subject categories: Lasers in Aesthetics & Surgery and Lasers in Dentistry. The most interesting of the presentations during the symposium, as judged by the attendees, were the following:

• NightLaseTM Approach to Snoring Reduction (Dr. Jugoslav Jovanović)
• TwinLightTM Rejuvenation and other Combined Therapies (Dr. Leonardo Marini)
• No Compromise Laser Dentistry (Dr. Norbert Gutknecht)

The symposium also included hands-on demonstrations of some of the industry's latest medical laser equipment, such as the new LightWalkerTM dental laser system from Fotona, as well as plenty of opportunities for networking and socializing with lecturers and fellow participants. At the end of the day, attendees completed an anonymous questionnaire and rated their impressions of the overall symposium experience, with 77% describing the event as excellent or exceeding their expectations, and the remainder reporting that the event had met their expectations.
